SOMA Principal Michel Abboud and Developer FFA Real Estate Announce Development Milestone for Amchit Bay Beach Residences

    NEW YORK, NY, May 13, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- International architecture firm SOMA Architects announced today that the Amchit Bay Beach Residences, designed for developer FFA Real Estate, has commenced foundation work and is well under way to meet its 24 month completion schedule.

Amchit Bay will consist of six villas and 19 residences, offering residents luxurious seaside living with direct beach access and unparalleled views of the Mediterranean. Located just a 30 minute drive from Beirut and its roughly 1.9 million residents, Amchit Bay is the perfect destination for either a weekend getaway or a Seafront in Lebanon.

"Our goal was to develop a design for Amchit Bay that accommodates the sloping site, maximizing its stunning views. Also of importance was the region's cultural heritage," said Michel Abboud, SOMA principal and founder. "We accomplished our goals by implementing a terracing system like those common for decades now in farming. This is an exciting project of which we're immensely proud and it is thrilling to see foundation work begin."

The development sits on more than 250 feet of uninterrupted coastline, with a total of over 21,500 square feet (sqf) of landscaped green common space. Other amenities include a fitness area, 24-hour security surveillance, pool, clubhouse and children's playground.

Developer FFA Real Estate is a member of FFA Private Bank group, a Beirut-based provider of private banking and investment banking services. Zerock Construction has been named the contractor for the project.
