Samantha Inesta Recognized by Worldwide Branding for Excellence in Anti-Trafficking

Samantha Inesta founded BeaSister2aSister three years ago with a simple mission: bring women from all walks of life together in a sisterhood. Ms. Inesta's desire to break down societal and cultural divisions dates back more than a decade. "When we stand together, we can be a unified force that will bring an end to human atrocities," she stated in a recent interview. The goal of the organization is to empower women by providing aftercare programs and female support networks to fight against sex trafficking in the United States and abroad.

Even before establishing BeaSister2aSister, Ms. Inesta has been very involved with anti-trafficking organizations. For eight years, she worked with the New York City chapter of the National Organization for Women as an anti-trafficking coordinator. She also worked in a research capacity for the Coalition Against Trafficking in Women. As she looks to the future, Ms. Inesta intends to continue fighting to unite women as sisters to end human trafficking.
