"Residents at Parkside were tired of previous providers playing games, so when we offered them Internet for $19, we meant $19, no strings attached."
CHICAGO, IL, May 19, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- With the transformation of Cabrini-Green into a new urbanized Old Town, the entire neighborhood desired advancements and Everywhere Wireless has taken available technology to the next level. EW and its Gigabit+ Internet Network extended its service to Chicago's Old Town from Clark Street to Halsted Street.
One of those customers is Parkside of Old Town, which has partnered with Everywhere Wireless to provide Fiber-Speed Internet to its residents at 437 and 511 West Division Street. Designed by FitzGerald Associates in 2009 and managed by Property Specialists Inc., the condominium building at 437 West Division Street includes 128 units in the 9-story building. The residential property at 511 West Division Street includes 79 units. Parkside won the 2009 Smart Growth Award from the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
The Chicago Housing Authority formerly called this area Cabrini-Green, which was built in stages from the 1940s to the 1960s. To improve the area, the CHA sought new urban style housing. Demolition of Cabrini-Green finished in the spring of 2011 and led to historic Old Town. Located within two miles of the Magnificent Mile in Chicago, Old Town is an affluent and historic neighborhood with Victorian homes and brick alleyways running along Wells Street.
"Residents at Parkside were tired of previous providers playing games," said Marvin Hossain, Director of Business Development at Everywhere Wireless, "so when we offered them Internet for $19, we meant $19, no strings attached."
