HARRISON, NY, May 20, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Allen Greenbaum, MD of Westchester Eye Associates, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in ophthalmology.
A board certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Greenbaum joined Westchester Eye Associates in 1983, and is the former Chief of Ophthalmology at White Plains Hospital. Dr. Greenbaum specializes in cataract and refractive surgery, but is also an accomplished laser refractive surgeon, having helped pioneer LASIK and PRK procedures since the FDA approved them in the 1990s.
Dr. Greenbaum obtained a bachelor's degree from Rutgers College and an MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine before competing an internship and residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the New York State Ophthalmology Society, the Westchester County Medical Society, and the New York State Medical Society. Dr. Greenbaum has been honored as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for the New York Metro Area for 15 years.
