Woodmere Rehabilitation & Health Care Center (WR&HCC) Participates in Red Nose Day

    WOODMERE, NY, May 22, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Residents and staff of WR&HCC teamed up to fight child poverty by fundraising and participating in Red Nose Day. The money raised during the Red Nose Day Campaign will be used to help 12 charity organizations lift children and young people out of poverty in the U.S. and throughout the world. The money will be split between domestic and international poverty programs.

Residents and staff donned their red noses to pose for pictures. Ms. Debbie Flack, Administrator of WR&HCC commented, "It is has been a fun and humbling experience participating in this fundraising event. Residents and staff have opened their hearts and wallets for this good cause."

The Red Nose Brigade brought smiles and laughter to the residents and staff at the Facility. It was a day that brought awareness to people of the plight of children living in poverty through the power laughter.
