    WASHINGTON, DC, June 03, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sergeant William Shemin did not receive the Medal of Honor during his lifetime due to Anti-Semitism, but will be honored posthumously for his actions while serving in the American Expeditionary Forces.

His daughter Elsie Shemin-Roth of Webster Grove, Missouri will accept the Medal of Honor on her father's behalf.

Shemin is scheduled to arrive at the White House this morning to participate in the event. "What an inspiration. He taught me many things. Do your job, be loyal, be humble! Always give your all. He always did. I am so proud to be a part of this great family. Discrimination of any sort cannot be tolerated. Please do something special for our great veterans and their families... A thanks, a gift, a donation or just your time. Do it! They did and gave it their all."
