TUSTIN, CA, June 04, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Institute of Real Estate Management, Orange County Chapter's (IREM OC) 2015 Southern California Real Estate Conference and Tradeshow on May 28 at the Hyatt Regency Orange County motivated it's 530 guests to Invest, Inspire and Innovate.

The sold out event began with an adrenaline pumping Executive Think Tank examining the latest market trends and innovative strategies that are actually being implemented in today's real estate management industry. The panel included Coreland Companies' Cheryl Todd, CPM; Cushman Wakefield's Maria Sicola; Mesa Management's Steve Mensinger and Goodman Birtcher's Mike Kent. Irvine Company Office Properties' Holly McManus served as moderator.
Guests were then led to the main room for the luncheon program emceed by IREM Past President and Founder/Principal of RiverRock Real Estate Group, AMO John Combs, CPM who introduced IREM OC President, Michael Brown, IREM's 2015 Secretary/Treasurer, Michael Lanning, CPM and Keynote Speaker Lisa Ling.
Ling's powerful 60-minute presentation was not for the faint of heart, and strongly encouraged the audience to think with an open heart and an open mind to create positive change for the future. She urged IREM OC members participate wholeheartedly in the Chapter's nonprofit organization "Orange County Helping Hands," to help improve communities by giving back to those in need.
Following the luncheon, guests attended one of two concurrent sessions: "IREM TALKS: Innovative Ways to Connect," which was a dynamic session of two fast-paced TED Talks-like educational talks about using technology and emotional intelligence to improve skill at connecting with customers, co-workers and bosses. The emcee for this session was Michael Brown CPM , ARM, division vice president, Camden Property Trust AMO, and featured Kristy Simonette, also from Camden Property Trust and Valerie Sargent, Yvette Poole and Associates.
The second option was "What's Trending Now?" the panel was moderated by Nicholas Ilagan of Sperry Van Ness Rooted Commercial, and featured Anne Bretana of Gensler, one of the leading design firms in the world, and Eric Olsen from the award-winning firm TCA Architects.
The event culminated in the popular tradeshow and cocktail reception, featuring games, prizes and the products and services of 62 Friends of IREM.
