Fit3D Announces Results of First Ever, Completely Automated Inch Loss Challenge

    SAN JOSE, CA, June 08, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fit3D, the leader in 3D body scanning technology in the fitness and health market, announces the results of the company's first ever inch loss challenge, hosted by customer Key Health Institute Edmond (KHIE). The challenge resulted in 150 inches lost by participants of varying physical attributes, and not a single inch lost was measured by hand. KHIE and Fit3D challenged participants to lose as many inches possible in a six week time period, beginning in February 2015.

The winning numbers:
First place winner place lost 5.4 inches
Second place winner lost 5.36 inches
Third place winner lost 4.18 inches

The Fit3D ProScanner documented the participant's inch loss journey by capturing a 360 degree, 3D image of the human body while extracting the most commonly used measurements tracked for fitness progress - all within a mere 40 seconds. Tracking inch loss progress in a single individual let alone a hundred is a traditionally arduous process if done properly - the use of a tape measurer to document a suite of measurements typically takes about twenty minutes per person. Not only does Fit3D's technology streamline the measurement process and provide a convenient place to track progress data, it also eliminates the human error variable of inconsistent measurement tape placement time after time.
