New Mechanical Thrombectomy Device Provides Value in the Outpatient Physician Office

The patient presented with rest pain and claudication. Dr. Salazar performed an angiogram and decided to intervene and treat the symptoms. During the procedure, a blood clot (emboli) was identified in the patient's leg that obstructed distal blood flow. Dr. Salazar used the Aspire device to aspirate the thrombus then was able to perform athrectomy and angioplasty to fix the patients symptoms.
