OGDEN, UT, June 12, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ogden's Own Distillery's newest creation, Porter's Fire, a cinnamon whiskey liqueur, has been shipped to the Idaho Liquor Division for distribution throughout the state.
Named for the man who served as a hit man and bodyguard to the leaders of the Mormon church, Porter Rockwell was the ultimate religious defender. Porter's Fire Liqueur captures the passion of its namesake and the complex nature of the Utah's early years. It's flavored with smooth Canadian whiskey, natural cinnamon, and just a hint of vanilla.
"There's a lot going on in the market with the cinnamon whiskey flavor profile," explained Steve Conlin, Managing Partner, Ogden's Own Distillery. "We have a reputation for cutting back from the sugar levels in some of the more popular products, and letting the actual flavors come through. Porter's Fire continues this tradition and we think people will really enjoy the complexity rather than the candy taste they get elsewhere. We have gotten nothing but positive feedback from the folks in Idaho who have gotten a chance to try Porter's FiIre, and we are excited to hear more."
Porter's Fire is currently available throughout the state of Utah and Idaho is the second state to feature the liqueur.
