LONDON, ENGLAND, June 15, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- An ultra-functional, innovative and unique kitchen was required to support the school's cooking classes and demonstrations.
Infusions4Chefs, established 13 years ago, supplies a wide range of ingredients, gadgets and cooking essentials from its Suffolk warehouse. "We'd always planned to expand by opening a cookery school, but it was a struggle to find a kitchen supplier and designer who could deliver exactly what we wanted," explains John Jackaman, co-creator of Infusions4Chefs. "We're located in an old air field and our dream was to create an instant WOW when customers walk in the door, with a kitchen absolutely bursting with tech and ideas."
As a venue for everything from children's pizza parties to an innovative recipe development area for Michelin starred chefs, the kitchen needed to be fully-functional, as well as attractive. The solution? A Stoneham kitchen, combining the Evolve and Infinity ranges for a modern, stylish kitchen fully equipped with all the tools necessary for chefs and food lovers alike.
Glynis Brown, of Ronyar Ltd in Uxbridge, a Stoneham appointed kitchen centre, designed and managed the project from the seeds of an idea to the fantastic finished kitchen.
"This was a fun project for me, because the specifications of kitchen were diverse; Infusions4Chefs use it for many things, such as cookery courses, demonstrations, and high profile events. It was neither a domestic nor a commercial project, but something in between," Glynis explains. "I knew Stoneham had the flexibility to supply the kitchen ICE was dreaming of!"
Completely fitted out with Neff appliances, including built-in ovens and hobs, the ICE kitchen also features extraordinary pieces of equipment, such as a liquid nitrogen chamber for exciting dishes. A huge central island features a worksurface formed from one of the largest pieces of Corian in the UK, packed with appliances and plenty of space for visitors to sit and either watch a cooking show, or dine on the finished products. And the Infusions4Chefs team have customised the high gloss cabinetry with chalk pens in bright colours, featuring recipes, great quotes and ingredients lists for a fully immersive feel in the kitchen.
"This has been a long time coming for us, and we've seen a lot of kitchen designers. We had a tour of the Stoneham factory and every element was just right, from the curved doors to the hinges," says John. "The storage solutions are so innovative, with tall frontals hiding multiple drawers - it's a really great use of space in such a packed and busy kitchen! And we never get bored of the soft close doors - they're so cool!"
