In addition to continuing to see clients at the mental health center and providing supervision for the clinic's medical staff, Dr. Rifai will offer services for individuals in recovery through 24/7 on-call coverage to manage emergent situations. He also will supervise medical care through a physician assistant or a nurse practitioner who will provide care for individuals at New Vitae Wellness and Recovery.

Dr. Rifai brings many years of varied experience to his new role, including more than 15 years of private practice in psychiatry. He also has worked for the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, Maryland, and as the Medical Director of Behavioral Health Emergency Services through the Lehigh Valley Health Network.
