PARSIPPANY, NJ, June 19, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Going to camp is indeed a fun way to spend time with your family over the weekends. You get to ride canoes together, swim on the lake, and, of course, eat that campfire food you cooked all to yourself. Indeed, the camp is fun rather than watching TV at home and play video games with your gadgets.
Going back on the part of campfire food, if you and your family are suffering from gluten intolerance and celiac disease, you cannot just freely eat those foods. That is why NJY Camps hosted a "Gluten Free Camp" for these people last June 5 to June 7, 2015.
The camp included facilities that people loves to go to like pools, rope courses, art shops, family entertainment, and the main highlight of the camp, serving gluten-free meals. Perfect for people experiencing a gluten intolerance or Celiac disease.
The camp also hosted different kinds of activities perfect for particular age groups. There were also activities that were fit for the adult category. Then, during dinner time, all of the families were gathered in one dining hall for them to get the chance to bond with other families as well. Of course, dinner served were cooked from gluten-free products, catered just for these people.
Metropolitan Gourmet sponsored gluten-free products to the chefs responsible for making the meals for the campers. From gluten-free breadcrumbs, Metropolitan supplied the camp with these Kosher certified products.
Indeed, it was a fun-filled and jam-packed weekend for families during the "Gluten Free Camp". They bonded to their hearts content by enjoying different kinds of activities and shared three meals a day with snacks in between, which they can enjoy with together.
