Local Florida Journalist Gives Insight to Cuba-America Relations in New Book

Linda's inspiration for Cuba Undercover comes from her own personal experiences with Cuba. "I wrote from reality. I have been to Cuba. I married a Cuban American. I welcomed a Cuba refugee into my home and helped him become an American citizen. I can show you Cuba like not many others can, and I can show you how real love blooms between enemies," Bond says. "Every time the President made an announcement about Cuba, I had to do a re-write. No kidding. I felt serious pressure to get this book out before I had to re-write the whole thing."

All of Bond's books while not in a series, do have connection to one another and contain a high amount of suspense and romance. "My books are based on characters that all work in one Central Florida newsroom," Bond explains. "Each book is about one reporter going out on assignment, meeting danger, forced to solve a mystery, and finding love in the end."
