Realityworks, Inc. Appoints Mentor Education as Exclusive Distributor for Turkey

Mentor Education will join an established network of distributors that partner with Realityworks to expand the company's current 90-country reach. With help of distributors, Realityworks has impacted over six million students with their experiential learning technology products.

The partnership with Mentor Education grants them representation of Realityworks' RealCare Total Parenting Experience (TPE) program. This program includes the RealCare Baby infant simulator; simulators for Shaken Baby Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and drug-affected infants; and the RealCare Pregnancy Profile Simulator. These realistic, hands-on tools include comprehensive curricula and are used in educational settings to raise awareness of teen pregnancy, teach parenting and childcare career skills, prevent child abuse and address the consequences of actions taken during pregnancy. With 26 percent of the Turkish population below age 15 (compared to 20 percent in the USA and 18 percent in the United Kingdom) and the Turkish government's support of public education, the introduction of these products will play a large role in helping young people complete their education and prepare for their futures.

The RealCare Baby experience is commonly incorporated into Family and Consumer Sciences, Career Development Health and Development Courses. It can also be incorporated into English classes with the English based curriculum and the options of daily or weekly journaling and a culminating term paper where students write about their RealCare Baby experience.
