GREENVILLE, SC, July 15, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The first annual Spartanburg Strut Against Domestic Violence 5K and 10K Walk/Run will be held on Saturday, October 10th at 8am in Duncan Park. Runners and walkers are invited to attend the race which is being hosted to raise funds for SAFE Homes.
This race has been named to focus on fighting against domestic violence. "Strut" against domestic violence and make a difference in our community and state. Come and join the community in this race.
The cost to pre-register is $15 for the 5K and $20 for the 10K. All participants will receive a t-shirt. The price will double on race day and a shirt cannot be guaranteed. All participants will also have the opportunity to enter into a raffle for several prizes donated by local Spartanburg businesses. Many booths will also be at the race, including Hub City Mobile Market.
SAFE Homes serves victims of domestic violence and their dependent children in Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union counties, and victims of sexual assault in Spartanburg and Cherokee counties.
