Mason Ashley Releases Debut EP

    MAGNOLIA, TX, July 15, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Newcomer Mason Ashley's debut EP Into the Song is now available through digital retail outlets. The sixteen year old singer-songwriter from Magnolia, TX is making her own mark on today's music scene with her brand new EP of original songs.

Into the Song, produced by Jeffery Armstreet and Matt Kidd of Red Tree Recording Studio, is a 5-track collection of songs, all written by Mason that showcase her immense talent and diversity as a songwriter. From looking back on past relationships and seeing people change over time in "Untied Ends", to the fickle nature of love and attraction in "Sometimes Romance", Mason Ashley effortlessly puts incredibly complex emotions we have all experienced into words. On top of being lyrically profound, the musicality of the EP perfectly complements the feelings expressed in her songwriting. Beautiful vocal harmonies perfectly balanced over heartfelt chord progressions create a distinct musical style of refined grace and class that is uniquely her own. Into the Song is a testament to Mason's growth as a songwriter and is the end result of years of hard work and practice refining her craft.

To celebrate the release, Mason Ashley performed music from the album with her band in front of a full house at the famed Dosey Doe Big Barn in Houston, TX. The night opened with performances by Kyle Hutton (host of Real Life Real Music) and Shellee Coley before Mason took the stage to perform the songs from her EP and share the stories behind them. It was an inspiring night and the beginning of a promising journey for the young artist. The overwhelmingly positive response she received at Dosey Doe is sure to be the first of many important milestones soon to come for Mason Ashley.
