Sterling Bay, Google's New Chicago Headquarters' Developer, Signs on Everywhere Wireless' Internet Service

    CHICAGO, IL, July 16, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Developer, investor and builder, Sterling Bay adds Chicago-based Everywhere Wireless' Internet service to two buildings in Chicago's West Loop. The firm's office building at 626 West Jackson Boulevard is home to award-winning design firm IDEO. Fulton Green, a stretch of residential and retail spaces along Fulton Avenue including Glazed and Infused and Publican Quality Meats, will be added to EW's Gigabit Internet service, allowing speeds up to 1,000 Mbps in the future.

Sterling Bay is the developer of Google, Inc.'s Chicago office, 1K Fulton, in Fulton Market, located in Chicago's West Loop. Sterling Bay has become the forefront of Fulton Market. The company received the 2014-15 Developer of the Year award for its transformation of 1K Fulton.

The two-decade-old company owns 7 million square feet in properties. Along with Google, Sterling Bay developed and owns offices leased to other companies such as Uber, Twitter, Starbucks and Hillshire Brands.

Once a part of Chicago's meatpacking district, Fulton Market has evolved into a unique design of past and present. The community has seen a population increase of 14,200 percent since 2000.

The 105,000 sq. ft. space at 626 W. Jackson Blvd. is a multi-tenant loft style office space. The space was once the headquarters of Chicago's Housing Authority. The property has seen a full lobby renovation and facade repairs.
