With nearly three and a half decades of practiced experience in his profession, Mr. Gilbert is uniquely positioned to oversee a wide range of tasks on behalf of Kroeschell, Inc., an engineering company. Mr. Gilbert originally became involved in his profession when he was making his college choices; he wanted to go into electrical engineering, but was intrigued by the energy conservation choices that were going on around him, so he pursued a different path. He attended Rochester Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering.

A member of the Lake County Contractors Association, Mr. Gilbert has earned a variety of awards throughout the course of his career, including an Excellence in Engineering Award from the Illinois chapter of ASHRAE in 1998.
