Early conversations in 2014 between Pochat and University Ibero Americana Puebla leaders Alexis Vera, Luis Gabarron and Roberto Razo, touched on the strategic need to help Mexico produce graduates that provided economic development and job growth from a consumer position into a producer position.

From that starting point, both educational institutions shaped the strategic partnership for more than a year through monthly meetings. Along with educational models, the other focus was how to deliver the digital entertainment design program affordably to students in Mexico. By leveraging its award winning technology platform Edutisse, Vancouver Animation School will be able to keep the costs affordable for students while maintaining its strict accredited program.

Students will graduate in Vancouver, Canada and will receive a dual credential recognized by both institutions and both countries.
