Since his teenage years, Mr. Tabat has been enthralled with the legal profession. He spent his summers watching trials at a courthouse in Elizabeth, New Jersey, near his residence. These experiences inspired him to pursue an education geared toward law. He first earned a bachelor's degree in history from Rutgers and, afterward, a JD from Duquesne University. Upon graduating, Mr. Tabat chose to focus his profession on family law, where there was a high demand for attorneys.

He has now accrued 46 years of experience in the legal profession, and is the founding partner of Tabat, Cohen, Blum & Yovino, PC.
