The 3D pendant, which measures 1 1/2" by 1/2", captures the iconic logo and text etched onto each Sriracha bottle, while the 14K gold plated pendant includes a 30" 3mm red Italian leather rope necklace to match. According to Cuong Diep, co-founder of King Ice, "We love Sriracha sauce, so we were determined to capture the recognizable bottle in the form of wearable art. Huy Fong Foods, Inc., the owners of Sriracha, retain a selective licensing agreement, allowing King Ice to retain worldwide distribution of the Sriracha pendant.
Each pendant, which will retail for $100, will add to the growing list of fashion accessories Sriracha licenses to manufacturers. However, compared to clothing or clothing accessories, jewelry remains uncharted territory for the hot sauce maker.
