FREDERICKSBURG, VA, July 26, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The NAA is the auction industry's largest trade association with nearly 4,000 members around the world that are committed to the professionalism of the auction profession and competitive bidding industries.
Nicholls drawing on the heritage of Texas and the American cowboy said, "The iconic cowboy represents the best of America - courage, optimism and plain hard work. Cowboys stand for something - the simple, basic values that lie at the heart of the cowboy way. Cowboys honor and live by their code."
"In the Code of the West there are 10 principles, and 2 jumped out at me that I think are appropriate for this office: "Ride for the Brand" and "Remember that some things aren't for sale"," said Nicholls. "I ride for the NAA brand and the auctioneer brand, and I will continue to do so, and I promise you, I'm in the sales business, but some things are not for sale: integrity, principles, honesty, fair dealings, equal treatment and the best interest of the auction industry and the NAA."
In his speech before the NAA election, Nicholls said he was ready, willing, and able to "ride for the brand" to promote the auction profession and its association to enhance its image to the general public and the business world.
As president of Nicholls Auction Marketing Group, Inc., Nicholls oversees all day to day operations of the company. He is a second generation auctioneer who is licensed in 10 states and the District of Columbia and conducts over 300 auctions a year.
