NEW YORK, NY, July 27, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Federal-State Joint Conference on Advanced Telecommunication Services convened on July 15th to discuss the future of broadband innovation in our country. The room was packed full of industry leaders who were each there to offer their input on this very important topic. Perhaps none of the guests were as distinguished as Ed Donelan of Telecom Infrastructure Corp. who brought his unique perspective and years of valuable experience to the table.
Donelan had the opportunity to speak at the end of the conference on a panel for 21st century technology and broadband innovations. As a former president of BICSI, Donelan's input was a core part of the panel. He contributed his insight into how Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) play a role in building new design techniques and discussed training, education, credentialing, and standards within BICSI.
A company spokesperson for Telecom Infrastructure Corp had this to say: "At Telecom, you are welcome to create something. What this means is that we take pride in each of our core leaders, and encourage them to take an active role in the creation of the company and the shaping of our 21st century services. At our recent conference, we were able to get a real pulse on the industry, by tapping into the creative talents of some of the best and brightest minds around."
The panel discussion on broadband innovation was moderated by Clayton Banks, New York City COPIC commissioner and founder of Silicon Harlem. The panel also included founder of CIVICS.com Dazza Greenwood, Alstom Grid's Dr. Lawrence Jones, and Strategic Office Networks' Michael B. Shear, in addition to Donelan. This meeting of minds served to create an engaging and forward-thinking discussion on the future of the industry.
This panel marked the end of a long day of top-tier programming which included two other panels full of renowned professionals in the world of telecommunications. Initiated by Telecom Infrastructure, it is hoped that these discussions will pave the way for new ideas and developments which can improve communications services and find new solutions to old problems.
