LOS ANGELES, CA, July 27, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Linda Boyden wears many hats, Author, illustrator, storyteller, and poet. A long time member of the SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators), she will attend the 44th. Annual Summer Conference in Los Angeles. Friday evening of the conference, during the published and listed event (PAL), Boyden will sign copies of her recent release Roxy Reindeer. As both the author and illustrator of this book, collectors as well as readers are in for a special treat.
Boyden's original launch of Roxy Reindeer was at An Unlikely Story bookstore in Plainville, MA. Linda shared Roxy with over seventy children, and the delightful reindeer was well received. The bookstore, owned by Jeff Kinney, author of the popular "Diary of A Wimpy Kid" series, was originally a historic landmark, Falk's Market, that Kinney purchased and renovated. The session went well, and Roxy Reindeer stayed in the store. Boyden shared ROXY at the Shasta Lake Gateway Library's Summer Reading Super Hero program and continues to work with local stores, libraries, and schools.
