Ms. Loretta Anne Bowshall Recognized by Worldwide Branding for Excellence in Education

    ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA, August 05, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ms. Loretta Anne Bowshall, Teacher and Ph.D. Candidate, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

With 14 years of experience in the education profession, Ms. Bowshall has conducted qualitative research in the area of teacher education, with particular reference to the professional experience placement, mentoring and supervision, teacher professional development and training, curriculum and assessment development, and research design and implementation. Additionally, she acts as a university liaison officer at the School of Education, The University of Adelaide, helping to supervise student teachers in their professional experience placements, as well as acting as liaison between the university and schools.

With a passion for learning, Ms. Bowshall has created a successful career path for herself in education. Hoping to be able to assist both students and teachers through her work, she has written and taken part in facilitating a mentoring program for teachers and presented papers both in Adelaide and interstate. Her research interests focus on initial teacher education, with particular reference to the professional experience placement. Further, she has given seminar and conference presentations in the areas of education and education policy, as well as on her research in teacher education and the professional experience placement.

Ms. Bowshall is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in teacher education at The University of Adelaide, where she also received a master's degree in educational studies in 2012 and a bachelor's degree in music (NEW) in 1995. Additionally, she received a graduate certificate in education (Catholic Education) from the University of South Australia in 2008 and a bachelor's degree in education studies from Charles Sturt University in 2002. Ms. Bowshall is accredited in Australia by the Institute of Music Teachers, and is a member of the Australian Association of Research in Education, the Australian Teacher Education Association, and the Australian Society of Music Education. She was honored with an award by the Golden Key International Honor Society.
