Hastings and Hastings Pledges Allegiance to the Special Olympics

    PHOENIX, AZ, August 17, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A global charity, The Special Olympics empowers the nearly 180,000 intellectually challenged persons of Arizona by allowing 16,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities who reside in Arizona to compete with each other. The athletes lean on each other for friendship and support and the smiles on their faceless cannot be quantified.

Originating from next to nothing in 1962, The Special Olympics started as a summer camp for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Throughout the years, the day camp progressed into one of the globes largest and most respected charitable organizations. It now offers 4.4 million athletes with intellectual disabilities the chance to compete. Some of the events include: track and field, swimming, skiing, horse racing, basketball, tennis, hockey, track and field, archery, and bowling. These events occur on nearly every continent and several notable countries including, Norway, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, China, Russia, and America.

Surprisingly, Hastings and Hastings is not unlike the Special Olympics. Both began as a small operation, and both blossomed into large respectable organizations. Moreover, both are organizations that deal with human service.

Since the genesis of Hastings and Hastings, it has grown into one of the most respected consumer law firms in the valley. They offer over eleven valley locations worldwide, employ cum laude graduates from ASU and U of A, and even have a young attorney who clerked at Arizona State Supreme Court.
