We are very excited to have Everywhere Wireless as part of our building's amenity package. - Jon Banks, Property Manager of River West Lofts
CHICAGO, IL, August 25, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Built in 1920, former J.P. Smith Shoe Company factory, River West Lofts features its original timber ceilings and exposed brick. Everywhere Wireless has extended their Gigabit+ Internet Network to the 177,000 square foot residential property located at 925 West Huron Street.
The building is among the earliest buildings in Chicago to have a steel-frame structure. Jack Berger Associates, Arch. was the architect and developer, completed in 1988. Linn-Mathes, Inc. was the general contractor. The residential property is a designated landmark by the National Register of Historic Places.
River West Lofts is located in Chicago's River West neighborhood between River North and Wicker Park. The area started off as a manufacturing district and became artistically cultured in the 1970s. Most recently, Google has located its Chicago's headquarters just to the west, in the Fulton Market District, where a significant number of technology companies have relocated.
"Everywhere Wireless was professional from initiation, installation as well as technical support making sure every resident was up and running quickly," Jon Banks, Property Manager at River West Lofts, said. "We are very excited to have Everywhere Wireless as part of our building's amenity package."
Everywhere Wireless offers a no-contract Internet solution with no hidden fees or charges. Residents at River West Lofts will receive service starting at 50 megabits per second (Mbps) and can upgrade up to 500 Mbps or more.
"We are a Chicago-based company and it's great to service such a historical building and keep the Chicago tradition alive," Marvin Hossain, Director of Business Development at Everywhere Wireless said.
