WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA, August 26, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Telecom Expense Management Industry Association (TEMIA) (http://www.temia.org), the authoritative voice for Telecommunications Management and Solutions Providers in related areas, looks forward to its semi-annual meeting in Las Vegas. The meeting will feature findings from a TEMIA industry survey, a guest speaker from AT&T, and Ralph A. Rodriguez, Fellow at the MIT Media Lab. The day will conclude with networking and a dinner.
"The telecommunications management industry is entering a transformational moment as mobile apps, Software as a Service, Internet of Things, wearable technologies, sensors, and other non-traditional computing assets all enter the enterprise simultaneously," Rodriguez reveals. "These 'barbarians at the gate' create unprecedented complexity for enterprise communications and connectivity environments driving the need for shared standards, ethics, and behaviors that enterprises can expect from the vendor community as Telecommunications Management evolves into Technology Management."
To provide clarity into the most pressing of these emerging trends, Rodriguez will be presenting on the key challenge in clarifying enterprise mobility management strategy: detangling the interrelated challenges of device and app management. In a session entitled "MDM vs. MAM Slugfest: Who Wins?" Las Vegas will appropriately host the key mano a mano prize fight that every enterprise mobility vendor at CTIA Super Mobility should attend.
Managing Director Joe Basili said, "We are excited to have a packed agenda that will address critical subjects." In addition, to the meeting on Tuesday, September 8 at the Sand's Convention Center TEMIA will moderate two Thought Leader panels during CTIA Super Mobility 2015 on Wednesday, September 9, and Thursday, September 10. Basili added, "We have over 75 registrations from our members and select guests that represent a "Who's Who" of the industry with CEOs, presidents and leaders of the most important Solutions Providers."
TEMIA meetings provide a venue for principals of firms that manage telecommunications for very large enterprises, government, and smaller enterprises to discuss ways to overcome industry challenges, exchange different views and learn about new industry developments. Another highlight of these meetings is the opportunity for members to network and create business partnerships.
