Mr. Perley parlays 33 years of experience in his industry into an executive position with Canaveral Port Authority. He has garnered exceptional expertise in the areas of construction management, project coordination, port management, team leadership and maritime operations fluidity. As a senior director, Mr. Perley is tasked with overseeing construction and infrastructure related projects at Port Canaveral, Florida and handling a construction budget of over $100 million per year.

Always working hard and striving to complete the task at hand, no matter the challenges involved, Mr. Perley has seen many professional success throughout his career. A qualified professional in his field, Mr. Perley received a Master of Science in Building Construction, a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Design in Architecture, all from the University of Florida. He is a certified general contractor in the state of Florida, as well as a certified port executive, and an OSHA certified stormwater management inspector. He is also certified through the FEMA Emergency Management Institute. Today, he maintains affiliations with the American Institute of Constructors, The Construction Management Association of America and the International Association of Maritime & Port Executives, and is a graduate of the Brevard County Sheriff's Office Citizen's Academy. As a testament to his professional expertise, Mr. Perley has received the ABC Eagle Award for Excellence in Construction. He also regularly volunteers with Rockledge High School's sports programs, JROTC and Project Graduation. In the coming years, Mr. Perley intends to continue growing in the maritime industry and to eventually share his knowledge in the classroom.
