Mr. DeMott lends more than two decades of practiced experience to his role with his own law firm, which provides quality legal services in the areas of creditor negotiation, foreclosure defense, asset protection, as well as Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Prior to practicing law, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Harry A. Beach in the Allegan County Circuit Court in Michigan.
Mr. DeMott excels in his field due to his prior industry experiences and his educational background, which includes a JD from the University of South Carolina School of Law. In order to maintain a connection with his field outside of his job, he affiliates himself with the South Carolina Bar, which he has been a member of since 2005, the National Association of Consumer Advocates, and the State Bar of Michigan, which he has been a member of since 1993.
