Efficacy and fun in the learning experience is about to be turned up in New York City, explains Mr. Chad Ian Lieberman

NEW YORK, NY, August 31, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- "Today every field on earth has been somehow changed by technology, and with the revolutionary capabilities the future promises, classroom education will not be left behind," internet marketing maven and technology wiz Chad Ian Lieberman stated during a recent gathering to discuss the current and future impact of technology on education.

"There are countless technologies that can be applied, some of which are still in the trial phases and others whose primitive forms are already being used today. These promising technology concepts will likely alter how education is served in our schools."

He proceeded to state six major technologies and outlined where and how they could apply in the education sector. A summary of the same is as provided below:

1. Augmented reality - Google Glass is the best example, and it will allow the users to see extra information over what they can see in their actual realities. For now and regarding education, AR has only applied in apps like Sky Map, which enables identification of constellations in the night sky. It can also enable virtual field-trips, introducing a new, cost-effective way to teach.

2. 3D printing - this is a must-have, enabling children to print out models of different things. Direct beneficiaries other than toys for children include students and teachers of chemistry and engineering. An example is in use in Minneapolis where students can create mini-models and prototypes to test various engineering principles.

3. Cloud computing - in Zhuji, Zhejiang, China, over 6,000 cloud computing terminals have been installed in 118 schools. Through such devices, students can access, do and hand in their homework through electronic devices, with all information being stored in the Cloud. All you'll need to access class material is a connection to the Internet, providing extra convenience and security for both student and teacher. Online learning is another benefit.

4. Online social networking - Second Life, the online virtual world boasts representation for many universities and enables socialization for students in those institutions. Under the moderation of teachers, ideas can be freely shared - discussing homework, collaborating on projects etc. It enables students to do more instead of relying on teachers.

"There are many other technologies: flexible displays, biometric eye tracking, multi-touch LCD screens and game-based learning, just to mention a few. Not only do they promise to make learning more effective, these technologies will inject simplicity and fun into learning for students in the future, both of which are much needed today," Chad Lieber said in conclusion.
