ST. LOUIS, MO, September 03, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Battery Handling Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of battery handling equipment, announced two new additions to its growing line of warehouse products.
The BHS Shipping Receiving Desk (BHS SRD) and BHS High Value Cart (BHS HVC) are available through the company's extensive vendor network. The products are designed to improve efficiency in warehouses and storage facilities while adding essential ergonomic and safety features.
"Our goal is to create warehouse equipment that is durable, functional and secure," said Katy Cortinovis, Marketing Manager at BHS. "Our engineering team looks closely at real-world operations in order to make key design improvements, and these new products certainly live up to our strong reputation for innovation."
The BHS High Value Cart is a portable storehouse with phenolic casters for floor-safe mobility. A keyed hasp lock protects valuable equipment on the job site, and rigid 12-gauge steel ensures security.
Designed to improve productivity in warehouses and storage facilities, the BHS Shipping/Receiving Desk (BHS SRD) is made with 1/4-inch formed steel frame and 12-gauge steel shelving for exceptional durability. It features two adjustable shelves, a fixed lower shelf and a fixed countertop. Both fixed surfaces have a 500-lb maximum capacity, while the adjustable shelves have a 350-lb capacity. Counter cutouts are available on both sides of the BHS SRD, and a computer mounting station can be mounted on either side or detached entirely.
The BHS SRD is fully adjustable, and by improving ergonomics, it helps to protect employees from repetitive stress while increasing efficiency during common shipping and receiving tasks. It is available in stainless steel or powder-coated steel.
The new products are part of BHS' growing warehouse equipment product line, which also includes forklift reel attachments, order picking carts, bin tippers and other essentials. BHS products are ergonomically engineered with high-quality steel components, which allow for dependable operation in various environments.
"Our warehouse products are built to last, and they're affordable heavy-duty additions to any operation," said Cortinovis. "We're excited about this growing segment of our business, and we invite our customers to visit our website at bhs1.com for more information."
