She is a board-certified Marital and Family Law attorney and Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator. Ms. Gonzalez said, "It is with great pleasure and honor that I serve as this year's Chair of the Family Law Section and I am particularly proud to be the first Hispanic woman to lead this great organization of over 4,000 members.
