Objective IT Develops Online Client Portal for Caatalyst

Having previously worked with highly complex Excel spreadsheets, as well as using email to discuss claim information with clients, Caatalyst asked Objective to develop an online client portal to automate the claims process.

Eradicating the need for spreadsheets altogether, Objective created an online web based system that includes a central database to store client data, audits and claim information, as well as a workflow system that assists in handling claims made by clients.

Using both Microsoft ASP. NET 4.5 and Microsoft SQL Server 2012, three internal reports were created based on defined parameters, allowing Caatalyst's directors on-hand and instant figures to assist management decisions.

Using pie charts, graphs and message boards to keep everyone up to date, the client dashboard provides a graphical view of each audit and its associated claims progression. The dashboard can be personalised with the company's own logo.

Meeting the criteria set by Caatalyst, the database allows users real time visibility on the status of claims and has a secure portal to store confidential client documents.
