GTM Research forecasts the commercial solar market this year will grow 40 percent over its 2014 total. A traditional solar installation is designed to last 20 to 25 years, while a flat roof requires maintenance every 15 years on average - if not sooner in the event of a roof leak. Removing and reinstalling a fixed solar rooftop system to gain roof access is costly, and often the main objection to purchasing a solar system. With its patented retractable racking technology, a PWRstation can be folded in a matter of seconds to provide full rooftop access, making roof maintenance and repair a routine operation.
