Having been an organisational psychologist for nearly 25 years, Dr. Smith has been fortunate enough to work in various human resource management and organisational development roles within industries such as FMCG, Mining Management Consulting and most recently Oil and Gas. She has worked on greenfield and brown field projects at both local and global levels. She has been responsible for leading teams of up to 25 professionals.
Looking back, Dr. Smith attributes her success to her outstanding academic education and her mentors. She became involved in this profession through a natural progression of events. Dr. Smith received a Doctor of Philosophy, specializing in Organisational Change Management, from the University of South Australia in 2006. In 2005, she earned an MBA from Mt Eliza Business School, having received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Adelaide in 1990. She maintains affiliation with APS and AHPRA. In the future, Dr. Smith hopes to experience continued professional growth at a strategic management and executive level where she can make a difference to the strategic direction of organisations.
