Brigitte Pers has been Named a Professional of the Year in Insurance Services

With 30 years of experience in insurance in different capacities, Ms. Pers has become adept at analysing and reviewing injury claims. As an independent consultant in her field, she is regularly tasked with advising in professional indemnity and medical malpractice issues, traveling to and reviewing a selection of companies' claim files and pairing them against a number of criteria, and handling compliance with services level agreement. She is separated from her peers through her unique service of practicing law in house as an insurance claim professional. She has built strong networks in the legal and insurance fields, and is an excellent communicator.

Beginning her profession as an insurance lawyer, she eventually found that she enjoyed the litigation-based aspects of law, as opposed to giving advice. Her career then took on a natural progression of opportunities, which led to her current position. By combining exceptional communications skills with superior technical skills, Ms. Pers has seen many professional success throughout her career.

A qualified professional in her field, Ms. Pers received a Bachelor of Jurisprudence and Bachelor of Laws from the University of NSW in 1984. Today, she maintains affiliations with the Law Society of NSW and the Claims Discussion Group of NSW. She also volunteers with various organizations such as Marine Rescue NSW, Lifeline NSW and the Animal Welfare League of NSW. In the coming years, Ms. Pers intends to develop her business further by expanding her services to the U.S., the UK and Australia.
