BETHLEHEM, PA, September 17, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- New Vitae Wellness and Recovery will exhibit at the 2015 Harvest Full of Hope conference sponsored by The Lodge, Resources for Human Development, Inc. Harvest Full of Hope is an annual event held to increase mental health awareness and decrease the stigma of mental illness in the community. The event is free and open to the public.
Attendees will be invited to listen to a keynote speaker, network over lunch, choose between eight workshops, and visit the booths of Lehigh Valley's mental health service providers from Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and the surrounding area.
New Vitae's Bill Leiner Jr., RN MS BC, will present a workshop entitled "The Integration of the Principles of Brain Wellness and the Recovery Model." The goal of the workshop is to educate attendees on the benefits of an understanding of the principles of brain wellness and the recovery model. Increased public awareness can help create a society that exhibits greater tolerance and reduces violence.
Harvest Full of Hope began in 2001 in the Recreation Center at Allentown State Hospital. A contest was held for patients to name the event, and Harvest Full of Hope was the winning entry. The ultimate goal of the Harvest Full of Hope each year is to promote "Better Mental Health for All."
For more information or to register, visit Harvest Full of Hope. The deadline to register is Sept. 26, 2015.
