Admission to the federal court is an honor bestowed upon only the most ethical attorneys with superior knowledge of the rules of court.
ORLANDO, FL, September 17, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Colling Gilbert Wright & Carter announced Monday that associate attorney Cassidy Perdue has earned admission to practice before the United States District Court of the Middle District of Florida, enabling her to try pending cases at the federal level.
"We are so pleased to announce Ms. Perdue's admission to the U.S. District Court in Central Florida," said Ron Gilbert, a partner at Colling Gilbert Wright & Carter. "Admission to the federal court is an honor bestowed upon only the most ethical attorneys with superior knowledge of the rules of court."
Attorneys admitted to the Middle District of Florida court must complete a rigorous application process and be in good standing with The Florida Bar. According to the United States Courts website, applicants must submit an admission registration form accompanied by "a certificate of good standing from either the Northern or Southern District of Florida" as well as certificates from "two members in good standing with the bar" who can attest that the applicant is "of good moral character and ... otherwise competent and eligible for general admission to practice."
Gilbert said that Perdue's admission is a testament not only to her professional ethics and skill as an attorney but also to the firm's commitment to represent clients no matter what course their claim takes through the courts.
"At Colling Gilbert Wright & Carter, we strive to provide the best legal representation possible for our clients," he said. "With Ms. Perdue's admission to the Middle District, we will be able to continue providing quality representation in those cases that fall within the federal jurisdiction."
