James P. Daley has been Recognized as a Top Attorney in Illinois

Utilizing more than four decades of legal experience, Mr. Daley defends employers in litigation involving discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims in both federal and state court proceedings. He has represented clients before the National Labor Relations Board and the Illinois Labor Relations Board. In addition to his work with Jackson Lewis P.C., Mr. Daley has also served as labor counsel to the Chicago Transit Authority for more than two decades. Through this role, he negotiates its major collective bargaining agreements with the Amalgamated Transit Union and building trade unions, which impact more than 10,000 employees. He has also served as the chief labor counsel to Cook County, where he negotiates its major collective bargaining, affecting more than 20,000 employees.

With a strong desire to follow in the footsteps of his father and uncle, Mr. Daley received a JD from the College of Law at DePaul University in 1974.
