NEW YORK, NY, September 21, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Soldiers', Sailors', Marines', Coast Guard & Airmen's Club announces His Imperial Highness Ermais Sahle-Selassie of Ethopia and King Kigeli 5th of Rwanda will attend this year's 19th Annual Military Ball honoring General Mark A. Milley, Chief of Staff, United States Army; Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient, Major General Patrick H. Brady; and FlightSafety International. The ball will be held on October 9, 2015, 7PM at The Pierre Hotel located at 2 East 61st Street at 5th Avenue in Manhattan.
Each year members of the military, veterans and supporters attend this black-tie fundraiser, which is open to the public, to support of the Soldiers', Sailors', Marine's, Coast Guard and Airmen's Club, a New York non-profit situated in mid-town and dedicated to providing convenient, safe, affordable accommodations for servicemen and servicewomen, military retirees and veterans and their families visiting New York City.
Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be New York TV news legend Marvin Scott. Music will be provided by Alex Donner and his Orchestra. Performances will include the USO Liberty Bells, The Coast Guard Academy Cadet Quartet, NYPD Emerald Society Pipes and Drums and Tenor Joe Brucato will sing "Thank You Soldier". A silent auction will take place and dancing will continue after the formal ceremonies until late in the night.
