Marisa Goetz Recognized for Excellence with Induction into Worldwide Registry

    NEW YORK, NY, September 24, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marisa Goetz, partner for Faust, Goetz, Schenker & Blee LLP, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in trial law.

Ms. Goetz has 33 years of experience in law with almost 18 years as a partner for Faust, Goetz, Schenker & Blee LLP. She is knowledgeable in the field of insurance defense. Faust, Goetz, Schenker & Blee LLP handles cases all over the United States out of its New York and New Jersey offices, and provides legal services in alternative dispute resolution, appellate law, automobile liability, and construction and labor law, as well as employment, fraud and SIU matters, general liability, insurance coverage bad faith, and municipal, premises, and product liability. They also take on cases involving property, sports and entertainment, subrogation, and trucking and transportation. Ms. Goetz received a JD from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1982 and a Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University in 1978. She was admitted to practice in New York in 1983 and in New Jersey in 1995. Ms. Goetz is also admitted to practice in both the Southern and Eastern Districts of the Federal Court.

Recognized for excellence in law, Ms. Goetz was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry. Additionally, she is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and is a fellow with the Litigation Counsel of America. Ms. Goetz has remained active in the legal community by helping to educate attorneys. She has lectured attorneys for Continuing Legal Education Credits for the New York City Bar Association, participated in a New Judge's Seminar training course that was sponsored by the Judicial Institute of the Unified Court System of the State of New York, and acted as a moot court judge at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a student trial advocacy competition sponsored by the American Association for Justice. Ms. Goetz has also been tapped to help draft significant legislation involving New York's "Collateral Source" rule by the Tort Litigation Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
