Mr. Landry has carried out, to date, more than 2,000 tests at the S.Q. and privately. He has been a trainer for more than 25 years in criminal investigations, and a specialist at interviews and interrogations. He is also the author and designer of an interview for an interrogation plan bearing his name. His methodology and approach are taught and used by law enforcement throughout the world because of its efficiency and respect for the rights of people met. He has trained major crime investigators on the interviewing techniques and video interrogations at Institut de police du Quebec in Nicolet and provided basic training for investigators at the Institut de police du Quebec. Furthermore, he has lectured at Universite de Montreal within the department of criminology and is a lecturer for the investigators of the anti-crime unit for the insurers (S.A.C.A.) and at Canadian Police College. Mr. Landry has taught numerous college courses including a course at Universite de Montreal for the security management B.A.C. concerning specialized services in criminal investigations and has been an instructor for numerous Canadian government agencies including, an instructor for the Ministère de l'Emploi and Immigration Canada on the interviewing and interrogation techniques, as well as the analysis of declarations (1998), and an instructor for the investigators of the Commission des Valeurs Mobilières du Quebec - interviewing and interrogation techniques (1997).

Looking back, Mr. Landry attributes his success to his passion and love of his job. Mr. Landry is a retired lieutenant of la Surete du Quebec. As an officer in high level criminal investigations, he has specialized, during the last 16 years of his career, in the field of suspect interrogation for major crimes, having spent eight of those years as a polygraph examiner. He trained at the best polygraphic schools in North America. Mr. Landry has been using this investigative technique since 1989, and today has a record of having conducted more than 1,000 polygraph tests and hundreds of statement analysis. Over the past 20 years, he has also created a series of training programs in interview and interrogation techniques, suspect statement analysis and in identifying criminal profiles. These programs were conceived to suit the needs of various clients, for police forces as well as private sector companies.

Mr. Landry received a master's degree equivalent in criminology from the University of Montreal, and he has completed coursework in polygraphs through the Canadian Police College. In addition to his degree, he is a certified Polygraph Examiner with numerous certifications of continuing education. He has also been certified by The Private Security Bureau of Investigation. He is a member of the American Polygraph Association and the Global Polygraph Examiner Association. In 2015, he was named as Best Lecturer by criminology students of the University of Montreal, and he also received the Szabo Prize in the same year. In the coming years, Mr. Landry intends to continue writing and publish a second book.
