Austin Creatives Launch Interactive Film Experience for Homeless Organization

    AUSTIN, TX, October 04, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Three Austin creatives teamed up for nonprofit ReWork Project to raise awareness of its mission to help Austin's homeless community. The work includes a new rebrand and website, the centerpiece of which is a striking interactive film about a homeless person's current situation -- and what it could be. The film features a unique split screen that allows viewers to slide a center divider, revealing each side of the story while original music and SFX change depending on which side is viewed.

The dual film illustrates just how narrow the margin for hope can be for many homeless individuals and highlights the impact ReWork Project can have by providing them opportunities for success.

The creative trio behind the campaign are art directors Sean Leonard and Ryan Landry, and copywriter Dan Crumrine. Also integrally involved were director Charles Mulford, developer Jenaro Diaz and photographer Homero Cavazos. The team all worked on the project outside of their current jobs in their spare time.

"Our goal was to raise the organization's profile by getting people to pay attention and inspiring them to act," Crumrine said.

"ReWork has a huge heart and hopefully now they'll have a presence to match," Leonard added. "We wanted to do for them what we do for clients on a daily basis. If anyone deserves it, it's them."
