Robert H. Gardiner has been Named an Entrepreneur of the Year in Manufacturing

    LINDEN PARK, AUSTRALIA, October 15, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robert H. Gardiner, Managing Director of Robert Gardiner Holdings Pty Ltd, has been named a Worldwide Branding Entrepreneur of the Year in Manufacturing. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only small selections of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.

Over his 45-year career in manufacturing, Mr. Gardiner, now semi-retired, has become skilled in managing manufacturing and construction projects and dealing with mergers and acquisitions. While at Robert Gardiner Holdings Pty Ltd., he oversaw the strategic planning and financial control of the company, steering its growth over a 15 year period.

A successful entrepreneur, Mr. Gardiner remains open to all opportunities that come his way. It is this attitude to business that has allowed him to make his company the top choice in Australia for polymer renders and texture coatings, lightweight solid moldings and insulation systems for construction projects. In his work with Fenner Dunlop Group, he grabbed the opportunity to help develop a marketing plan for the U.S., and even relocated to the States, as VP of that operation, responsible for both North and South America. Following this period in the U.S. he moved to Australia as Managing Director (Asia Pacific) to build the business in that region based on his success in the U.S. and experience gained in mergers and acquisitions. He recently sold the manufacturing arm of his business and is currently looking to start a consultancy to help businesses all over the world improve their outcomes.

Mr. Gardiner received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of the West of Scotland and is a certified Chartered Engineer. He is a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and MIQA.
