Webster Industries Proudly Showcases Expansion with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

    TIFFIN, OH, October 16, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Webster Industries celebrated the new production facility expansion at its Tiffin, Ohio, headquarters on Monday, Oct. 12, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by numerous Webster employees and members of the community.

Webster CEO Andrew Felter spoke on behalf of all Webster employees and shareholders to recognize Webster Industries as "a premier leader in the manufacture and distribution of industrial conveyor chain, vibrating conveyors, and malleable iron castings used in a wide variety of industries, including forest products, food, automotive, cement, grain, asphalt, recycling, and steel processing."

Webster was founded by inventor and entrepreneur Towner K. Webster in 1876, Felter said, and now "Webster products are used all over the world wherever people or materials are conveyed or moved."

Webster employs more than 300 people nationally, at its Tiffin, Ohio, headquarters and main manufacturing facility and branch locations in Meridian, Mississippi and Portland, Oregon. The company's success, he said, is the result of "visionary leadership of our management team past and present," and Webster is proud to have been an employee-owned company since 1986.

Felter said one of Webster's greatest advantages is its "vertically integrated manufacturing processes, including metal stamping, punching, machining, heat treating, fabrication, welding and casting iron, most of which is done right here in Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio, USA."

The company's plant expansion is part of Webster's three-year, $9.5 million investment and plan for growth, Felter said, which also includes a more productive office facility and upgraded operational site. The goal for the remainder of 2015, he said, continues to be "Be Bold Inspire the Next...People-Products-Processes."

Webster Industries will continue to strive for expanded global business opportunities, increases in targeted markets, and an improvement in quality and service, Felter said, which the plant expansion will help facilitate.

Felter offered thanks to members of the local business community whose "hard work, assistance and leadership have been instrumental in strengthening Webster's partnership with Ohio and Tiffin," in addition to Clouse Construction and local contractors who were part of the expansion project's success.
