After an exceptional summer season that included wins in Omaha, NE and his selection to play in Travelball Select games, Tommy Goodin of Chatsworth, CA came out in force this past weekend in the 6th annual Save the Brain baseball tournament which is the "biggest cancer tourney in the United States".
On Sunday October 18, 2015 Tommy Goodin, age 10, hit a grand slam homerun in the top of the 6th inning to help Los Angeles Xtreme 11u Elite clinch the championship game against Mid Valley Bums of Encino, in Fontana, CA. After being hit by a pitch in his second at bat of the game and two intentional walks prior to his arrival at the plate, Tommy hit a bomb that cleared the fence by 10 feet to help his team clinch the win in the cancer charity tournament.
Watch for Tommy Goodin playing both locally and in Las Vegas, NV this fall with the USSSA power ranked, top 10 team the Los Angeles Xtreme 11u Elite.
Tommy Goodin is ready to enter middle school next fall with high hopes of continuing to play competitive baseball for a school program.
