Loraine Stern, MD, Recognized for Providing Pediatric Care

    VALENCIA, CA, October 22, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Valencia Pediatric Associates Medical Doctor and Pediatrician Loraine Stern, MD, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in the medical field.

On a day-to-day basis, Dr. Stern provides comprehensive wellness exams for children and teens. She and her staff offer treatments for anything from rashes, to fever, to flu symptoms. Dr. Stern is also available to provide immunizations according to the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations.

A Patients' Choice Award recipient, Dr. Stern has been in practice in a suburban private practice for 45 years. She is also a clinical professor emeritus at UCLA Department of Pediatrics. Licensed by the State of California, she is also certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Looking back, Dr. Stern became involved in her profession because her parents, German immigrants who escaped the Holocaust, instilled in her the importance of education. She thought about becoming a nurse, but a school counselor encouraged her to become a doctor. Dr. Stern wanted to became a pediatric surgeon at first, but found her niche in general pediatric medicine.

Dr. Stern received her MD from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago and completed her residency at UCLA Medical Center. She was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry for her accomplishments. In the coming years, Dr. Stern plans to continue treating children.
