Jan L. Cornelssen Recognized by Worldwide Branding for Excellence in Technology Management and Training

    BRADENTON, FL, October 22, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jan Cornelssen, Senior Manager of Business Operations of Cisco Systems, Inc., has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in technology management and the training industry.

Recognized for three decades of invaluable contributions to her field, Ms. Cornelssen parlays her extensive knowledge into her role with Cisco Systems, which designs, manufactures, and sells Internet protocol-based networking and other products, including those used for transporting data, voice, and video within buildings, across campuses, and around the world.

Ms. Cornelssen excels in her field because of a careful combination of her prior industry experiences and her educational background, which includes a Bachelor of Science degree, certifications in e-learning design, performance technology, and instruction systems design, and technical training in the Air Force. Her greatest accomplishment to date was her last role with the Air Force, where she was in charge of the Northern Germany air defense and the Berlin corridor. She was responsible for more than 15 officers and 60 enlisted personnel. Throughout her career, she has won a variety of awards, including the Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster through the United States Air Force. Looking forward, Ms. Cornelssen intends to continue improving upon her leadership abilities and expanding her expertise. Upon her retirement, she would like to go back into teaching.
